Bruna Rocha Obituary, Death – Bruna Simoes Rocha, who lived in Winchester but used to live in Malden, died suddenly on August 9, 2023. John Harris of Winchester loved Bruna, and they were going to get married in a few weeks. She was the loved daughter of Bianca Simoes and her husband, Leandro Lima, of Deerfield Beach, Florida, and Alexandro Rocha and his wife, Rafaela Cardoso, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Bernardo Rocha, who lived in Orlando, Florida, had a big sister named Bruna. Fred and Patrice Harris of Woburn loved her very much. She was their second daughter. She was the loved sister-in-law of Jimmy, Eileen, and Patrick Harris, as well as Amanda Pinheiro, Eddie Foster, and Brianne Abrams, who were married to Jimmy, Eileen, and Patrick.
Loved granddaughter of Pedro Simoes and Leda De Souza Simoes of Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Cecilia Oliveira Rocha of Santa Maria Madalena, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her grandpa, Alvaro Manoel Rocha, died before her. Mario Petrone and Glauce Carvalho Petrone of Lynn have a special daughter. Bruna was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1996. When she was two years old, her family moved to the Boston area. She went to school in Malden at Forestdale School and in Cambridge at Matignon High School. She went to UMass Boston and just recently finished from the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics. She was a nanny and babysitter for many homes for a long time. Bruna had a great work ethic and often worked at two or three jobs at once.
Bruna met John Harris, the love of her life, at Matignon High School. At first look, they fell in love, and they’ve been together ever since. They had been together for almost 12 years and were excited about getting married. Bruna had manic depression, which John and her other loved ones didn’t know about. John is determined to use her sad death to help people who have mental problems that haven’t been recognized or aren’t being talked about. Bruna was a kind person who spent her whole life helping other people, so this will be a good way to remember her.
Bruna has a big group of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends that are too many to count. When people met her, they all fell in love with her. Her death has left a hole that can never be filled, but we will always remember how hard she worked and how much she loved. She brought joy, love, and light to everyone who knew her. Bruna’s wake will be held at St. Camillus Church in Arlington, at 1185 Concord Turnpike, from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday. On Saturday at noon, there will be a Mass at St. Camillus Church for her.
Danielle Santos set up a Gofundme page in honor of Bruna’s life where people can give money. All of the money will go to the Bruna Rocha Memorial Fund, which will help other people who are going through hard times like Bruna. If Bruna’s death saves just one life, it won’t have been for nothing. The huge amount of love that has come in since last week shows how many people Bruna’s beautiful life of love and giving touched. John will always be thankful.
