Christopher David Death, Obituary – In loving memory, we gather to honor the life of Christopher David Robinson, a remarkable soul who graced this world from November 21, 1969, to July 21, 2023. Chris’s journey led him from his birthplace in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Los Angeles, California, where he peacefully passed away at the age of 53. Born to Gregory and Jane Robinson, he grew up alongside his two beloved younger sisters in the embrace of Ocala.
From a young age, Chris demonstrated his passion for athleticism, embracing baseball and bodybuilding with fervor. His dedication earned him a baseball scholarship to Lake City Community College, and he further pursued his education at Central Florida Community College and Covenant College. Over the years, Chris explored various career paths, finding his niche within the realms of real estate and car sales.
While Chris was undoubtedly driven by his professional pursuits, his heart truly flourished in the outdoors. Whether he was teeing off on the golf course, navigating the open waters on a boat, or casting lines in search of the perfect catch, he found solace and joy in nature’s beauty. However, his greatest pride and happiness resided in his role as a father to his cherished daughters, Taylor and Lauren.
Beyond his passions, Chris’s character shone brightly. His fashion sense, influenced by his love for 80’s music, reflected his individuality and vibrant spirit. He possessed an innate sense of humor that could light up any room. His unwavering generosity and steadfast faith, rooted in his Christian beliefs, endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In times of loss, we turn to the wisdom of Scripture: “But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.” (Luke 15:32 NIV). Chris joins his parents in heavenly embrace, leaving behind his adoring daughters, sisters Julie (Tom) Engelhardt and Emily (Elliott) Bucks-Reed, along with nieces Lacy and Hayleigh, and nephew Elias.
