Christopher Miller Missing –
Wisconsin (Madison) According to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, the body that was discovered over the weekend in a residence in Rock County was that of Christopher Miller, who had been reported missing for about nine months prior to the discovery.
According to Captain Mark Thompson, the Dane County Sheriff’s Office is aware that the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office alerted Miller’s family that the body recovered Sunday in an abandoned property on S. Creek Road is Miller’s. The body was discovered on Sunday.
The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office has been contacted by NBC15, and the station will return with an answer before updating this report. On November 19, 2022, Miller was reportedly last seen in the Janesville area.
According to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, Miller was attempting to elude state troopers who were trying to pull him over for speeding. The troopers had spotted Miller driving too fast for conditions.
Since then, Miller’s family has been looking everywhere for him. A tip led deputies from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office to an abandoned house in the Town of Turtle, where they discovered the body on Sunday afternoon, as stated by the Rock County Sheriff’s Office. There was no confirmation from the authorities as to whose house it was, although cruisers from the Sheriff’s Office were spotted parked at a residence in the 8300 block of S. Creek Rd., which is located along Turtle Creek.
