Cj selfridge Obituary, Death – On August 10, 2014, at St. Jude Haven, Selfridge, age 72, a resident of East Taylor Township, Pennsylvania, went to be with the Lord. Son of Alvin E. and Eleanor (LaSator) Selfridge, he was born on February 20th, 1942 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. His parents and his brother-in-law, Ronald Ballow, had passed away before him when he passed away.
He is survived by his loving children, Chris, who is married to the former Janna Holsopple in East Taylor Township, Scott, who is married to the former Lori Stock in Ebensburg, Colleen (Selfridge) Garman and her companion Doug Garman both of East Taylor Township, and Justin Selfridge, who lives in Adams Township; grandchildren, CJ Selfridge and Lauren Selfridge; siblings Jean Selfridge, who lives in Nanty Glo, Jacqueline (Selfridge) B Sam worked for Standard Slag for many years before retiring and then going on to drive for Yanko Brothers Trucking until 2004.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association in addition to the SNPJ #254 in Bon Air. Sam had a lot of fun going to his grandson CJa’s hockey games and seeing the Pittsburgh Steelers play football. At the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel in Conemaugh, Fr. Robert Hall will preside over visitations with friends on Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m., and on Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., prior to the start of the prayer service at 1:30 p.m.
The interment will take place at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. In honor of Samuel, the family asks that memorial donations be sent to St. Jude’s Haven, which is located at 1072 Mt.
