Cory Rowe jr Death, Obituary – Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Graceworks Church, which is located at 16131 Hwy 44 in Prairieville and will host the memorial service honoring the life of Cory Jason Rowe at 1 p.m. Cory was given his first breath in Baton Rouge on September 16, 1981, and took his last breath on November 11, 2018, having lived a full life for 37 years.
He attended and graduated from Parkview Baptist School as well as Louisiana State University, where he was a member of the “Pike” chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha. He was a resident of Prairieville. He was a committed Christian who went to Graceworks Church and had been a passionate supporter of LSU athletics for his whole life. Cory had a genuine affection for other people, and his legacy will live on in the description of his having a golden heart.
His great-grandparents, J.D. Kinchen and Joyce Broussard Kinchen, and Oscar F. Sr. and Elma Callicott Rowe, as well as his uncle Oscar F. Rowe Jr. and aunt LaVera Sue Rowe Falanga, passed away before he was born.
Surviving members of his family include his mother and father, Donald N. Rowe and Susan Kinchen Rowe; his three sons, Taylor, Ashton, and Peyton; his brother Jeremy and his wife Ashley Wilks Rowe, along with their children
Harlee, Skye, and Christian; his uncle and aunt, Brent and Susan Kinchen; and his aunt and uncle, Brian and Lynne Kinchen. Other relatives and friends are also among his surviving family members and friends.
