My children have been ruined. Especially my younger son. Because of this, there is now a significant void in our family. It’s the equivalent of getting hit in the stomach over and over again. It’s more than anyone can handle. I’m not sure how I’m going to get through this. Nevertheless, I must, and I am confident that I will, because of our children. He was the center of our universe.
My closest confidante and my true love. Although we were never married in a formal sense, we always believed ourselves to be married. In addition to being everything that a husband is, he was so much more. Nobody will ever love me the way that he did. Never again. Ever. He liked absolutely single aspect of my being. He would go to great lengths to please me. And despite everything, I will always love him.
On the face of the earth, there couldn’t have been a funnier guy. In my universe, no way. And the size of his heart was enormous. He gave his entire heart and soul to the love of his family as well as his friends. If Dave was the kind of person to show his affection for you, then you completely understand what I’m trying to say. We were quite fortunate to have him.
It is a nightmare and an incredible financial strain to lose a loving partner and a parent, and any human being may relate to this feeling. This family needs to set aside money in their budget not just for the costs associated with the funeral, but also for the beginning of the school year and their month-to-month living expenses. Both David and Jess held the belief that their children came first and superseded all other concerns.
