Eddie Peal Obituary, Death – One of the South High School Wildcats that I admired the most has graduated and went on to play on a floor that was not constructed by males. It’s going to be exciting to see him compete. My enthusiasm for him is beyond my ability to suppress it. Due to the fact that the Ayers family considers Eddie Peal to have been a brother in the faith, we are utterly heartbroken to have learned of his loss. We will always cherish the memory of our family attending worship services at the different times offered at the Second Baptist Church in our hometown on Sunday mornings. Those mornings were some of the most special in our lives.
I challenged dad with the topic when I was in the eighth grade, asking why he and my brothers did not compete together on the same team. He did not have an answer for me. He had an odd look on his face as he glanced at me. After all, all those years ago we held our religious services in the same site. He addressed Timmy one-on-one and stated, “Timmy, I want you to wear that Panther uniform with pride, but when you suit up in a few years against the Wildcats, I’ll be on the other side.” Timmy was visibly taken aback by this revelation.
He was making reference to the fact that he will be participating in the game for the Wildcats. After he finished speaking, he laughed and told me, “When you’re in high school, you’ll understand,” before exiting the room. He was unquestionably one of the people whom I saw as an example to follow and admired. I ask God to bestow his innumerable blessings on each and every member of the Peal family, and I ask him to do so in abundance.
Eddie, we are going to look for you on that gorgeous court that is hovering in the air above us in the clouds.
