We didn’t learn that Joe had passed away while we were traveling throughout Europe until after we had already returned from our trip and were settled back into our normal routines at home. We were saddened to learn that Joe had passed away while we were abroad in Europe. Mr. Finn, the poet who wrote the piece, is alleged to have said, “He may have been our only decent teacher.”
