In the message, we also discussed how much we were looking forward to seeing each other there.

When I asked him how he was doing, he said that he was doing fairly well taking into account the situation that he was in physically. When I pressed him for more information, he stated that he was doing fairly well. I persisted in asking him for further details, and he responded by saying that he was doing rather well. It would be an understatement to say that this makes my day a little bit brighter. I was really taken aback when I heard that piece of news first thing this morning because it came entirely out of the blue.
