Tommie Bolling Obituary, Death – Theodore Bolling Tommie Death Notice, Obituary – On August 21, 2023, Tommie Lee Bolling, who was 66 years old, abruptly passed away at his home in Andalusia. On Thursday, August 24, 2023, between the hours of 5 and 7 pm, a memorial ceremony will be conducted at the Keahey Funeral Home, and it will be followed by cremation. Tommie, who has spent her whole life in the state of Alabama’s Covington County, received her high school diploma from the Andalusia school district. He was able to rise through the ranks of the ROTC and eventually become its Commander. Throughout the course of his career, he displayed exceptional talents, most notably as a skilled mechanic who had taught himself.
He had positions at Boan Construction, S & D Garage, and Oil Rigs, among other places of employment. After he retired, he continued to pursue his love as a “shade tree” mechanic, offering assistance to anybody who required it despite the limitations imposed by his condition. Tommie’s life was filled with happiness thanks to his passion for hunting. His wife Melinda Taylor Bolling, his children Tony Moore, Brandy Forehand, and Salena Locklier, his brother John Walker, his sisters-in-law, his granddaughters, great-grandchildren, and a large number of nieces and nephews were the most important people in his life. He cherished his family. Tommie, despite the rough demeanor he presented, had a giving heart and was always prepared to help those in need.
Even though he often referred to himself as a “lady’s man,” it was common knowledge that Melinda was the one who held the deepest and most meaningful place in his heart. He treasured the times he got to spend with his children, his grandchildren, and their families. Tommie’s son Christopher “Bull” Bolling, his parents Johnny Bolling, Jr. and Hattie Brooks Walker Bolling, and numerous of his brothers all passed away before him. The legacy of Tommie Lee Bolling is carried on by his children and grandchildren, as well as by his skill as a mechanic and his eagerness to assist others. Everyone who had the privilege of knowing him will grieve his passing greatly.
