Jalen Aubert Death, Obituary – The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office has officially identified the victims of two separate New Orleans shootings that occurred last week. The individuals are 22-year-old Jalen Aubert and 29-year-old Johnny Huntley. Jalen Aubert tragically succumbed to his injuries at a hospital following a shooting incident in the Seabrook area on August 10. According to the New Orleans Police Department, the incident unfolded when Aubert and an unidentified individual were inside a residence’s bedroom in the 8000 block of Sheephead Street.
During the process of cleaning a loaded firearm, the weapon accidentally discharged, striking Aubert in the chest. The unfortunate accident resulted in his passing. In another unfortunate incident, Johnny Huntley was discovered in a vehicle that had crashed, with a gunshot wound to the head. This incident occurred in the Read Boulevard East neighborhood on August 12, as reported by the NOPD.
