Jeanette Jordan Death, Obituary – It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of one of our most dedicated supporters, Jeanette Jordan, a beloved member of the Katikati Open Air Art community. Jeanette’s journey with KOAA began in the early 1990s when she joined as a committee member and took on the role of secretary – a role she fulfilled with unwavering dedication for many years. Her passion for the arts and her commitment to the organization shone brightly during her time on the committee.
Even after Jeanette retired from her committee duties around 2004, her involvement with KOAA continued to flourish. She remained an integral part of the team, tirelessly assisting with souvenirs, maintaining records, and curating the group’s scrapbooks. Her meticulous efforts in cutting out and compiling KOAA articles from various publications created a valuable historical record that documents the journey of Open-Air Art over the years.
Although she stepped back from active committee work, Jeanette’s interest in KOAA activities never waned. Her dedication and genuine care for the organization remained constant, making a lasting impact that touched every member of the community. Her absence will be deeply felt, and her contributions will be sorely missed.
On behalf of the entire Katikati Open Air Art community, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Jeanette for her years of service, dedication, and unwavering support. Our thoughts and condolences are with her family during this difficult time. The legacy she leaves behind will forever be a testament to her love for the arts and her enduring commitment to the KOAA family.
