Jeff Michner Obituary, Death – Jeff Michner, who went by the title of Executive Chef at Pig Beach BBQ in Gowanus, Brooklyn, was in charge of the kitchen there. In the spring of 2018, when he was 36 years old, he met an untimely and horrible end as a result of an accident. His wife Sara and their daughter Hayes, who was only 16 months old when he passed away, were the only people he left behind after he passed away.
A foundation bearing Jeff’s name was founded so that his legacy might continue on in perpetuity and so that his name would not be forgotten. The organization honors the facets of life that were most important to him, such as his family, his friends, and the excellent cuisine that they shared together. The Jeff Michner Foundation, which also offers assistance to families who are coping with the effects of grief and suffering, gives out scholarships to students interested in the culinary arts.
The Jeff Michner BBQ Benefit is a celebration that will include a big barbeque at our new location in Queens, New York, featuring some of the best Pitmasters from all over the country. This event is named after Jeff Michner. This event was a dine-around, in which each of the participating Pitmasters prepared a tasting portion of their food for the visitor to sample as they went around the table. The participating breweries and distilleries each donated a unique beer or cocktail to the event that they took part in.
