It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry Wayne Rogers, a cherished resident of Bristol, Tenn., at the age of 77. Jerry peacefully left us on Monday, August 21, 2023, while under the care of Bristol Regional Medical Center.
Jerry’s life journey began on July 30, 1946, as the beloved son of James Hugh Rogers and Helen Graham Rogers. Growing up in Bristol, he was surrounded by the love of his family, who instilled in him the values of kindness, compassion, and resilience that he carried throughout his life.
A loving son, brother, and friend, Jerry touched the lives of those around him with his warm smile and genuine heart. His presence brought a sense of joy and comfort to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
