Joseph Calise Obituary, Death – Joseph Calise, who was 29 years old when he died on Monday, October 15, 2018, in Agawam, Massachusetts, passed away without suffering and with his family at his side. He fought cancer head-on for a very long time and did so bravely. Joseph was born on RAF Upper Heyford in the United Kingdom, which is located in a galaxy far, far away. Before finally settling down in Agawam, Massachusetts, he took his family on a trip across the world. His family, music, and movies were his three most important pleasures in life. His generosity was not in any way overlooked by those around him.
He was a skilled runner and an expert on movies. Joseph had always been able to triumph over the obstacles that he faced in his life by maintaining a positive attitude, a can-do spirit, and an unending supply of humor. He first worked for a number of years at ITT Power Solutions in West Springfield, and then he went to work for ECI in Westfield. Joseph is survived by his older sister Amber (Calise) Armitage of Hebron, Connecticut, his younger sister Sarah Calise of Agawam, and his younger brother Robert Calise of Westfield, Massachusetts.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Darcie (Pope) Calise of Agawam. In addition, he is predeceased by a number of nieces and nephews, including Nicole, Ashlee, Harley, and Toby Armitage, as well as Silas and Charlotte Calise. In addition, he is survived by his spouse, Steve Robles, as well as his parents, Joe and Nancy Robles, as well as an endless number of other relatives who were there for him throughout the years. Joseph’s maternal grandparents Robert and Eleanor (Williams) Pope, paternal grandparents Joseph and Carmela (Cedrone) Calise, and maternal uncle Andrew Kusey all passed away before him.
Joseph was named after his paternal grandparents. On Monday, October 22, 2018, there will be a Celebration of Life service commencing at 7:30pm followed by visiting hours from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home located at 985 Main Street in Agawam, Massachusetts. There will be a private burial service performed at a time that is convenient for his family.
