Marion Noccey Death, Obituary – MARION IRENE NOCCEY (nee SCOTT) With heavy hearts, we announce that on Friday, August 11th, 2023, at the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus, Marion Noccey peacefully entered eternal rest at the age of 80. She leaves behind a legacy that warms our hearts. Marion Noccey, a cherished Wife to Frank Noccey, a devoted Mother to Lynda Switzer, Steven Noccey (Wendie), and Allan Noccey (Nicole), transitioned gracefully into her final journey. Her nurturing spirit lives on in her cherished role as Grandmother to Scott (Alisha), Justyn (Marissa), Ryan, Jocelynn Fleming (Zachery), Logan, Sullivan, and Mallory.
A lineage of love continues with her Great Grandchildren, Emerson and Elianna. Sister to Vivian Riddell, Marion was preceded in passing by her parents, Bill and Vida Scott, and a brother-in-law, Duane Riddell. A testament to her impact on the lives around her, Marion’s legacy thrives through surviving family members. Nephew Dale Riddell, niece Diane Dewit Kirby, and Great Nephew Elliott (Christine), along with Great Nieces Amy (Steve) and Alicia, stand as living tributes to her love and nurturing.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held to honor Marion’s memory at St. Laurence O’Toole Catholic Church, 50 Centre St., Spencerville, on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at 1:30 pm. Following the Mass, her journey continues with interment at St. Laurence O’Toole Cemetery. A heartfelt Celebration of Marion’s Life will ensue at the Spencerville Mill & Museum, 11 Water St., Spencerville, at approximately 2:45 pm.
