Mike Penton Obituary, Death – Benjamin Anthony Michael Benjamin Penton “I’m Proud of Where I Come From” Beginning on April 28th, 1998 and ending on February 6th, 2021 Mikey Penton was born at Joe Batt’s Arm, Fogo Island, Newfoundland, to two ecstatic parents named Wayne and Carol Penton. The last born of their four children, he was the only boy. He was tasked with making everyone laugh, with the primary focus being on making fun of himself. When he talked, we laughed, but when he sang, there was complete silence in the room. Because of his health problems, Mikey was able to go to sleep on February 6, 2021, and he passed away in a calm and serene manner during the early hours.
Mikey’s presence warmed the feelings of a considerable number of people, despite the fact that he only lived for 22 years. The outstanding skill he possessed and the kind spirit he exuded will endure in our memories forever. His incredible voice will continue to sing to us for all of eternity. His grandparents, Jack and Winny Penton, as well as his grandfather, Alonzo Penton, passed away before he was born. Great Uncle Lambert Penton was a really special person. His parents, Wayne and Carol, and his siblings, Charlotte (Lily and Kayne), Katie (Paul, Ella, and Allan), and Jack (Monica and Ziggy), together with his cats Tazzy and Felix, are left to grieve his passing and to cherish the wonderful memories he left behind.

We regret to tell you that, as a result of the province-wide Covid -19 restrictions, visiting in funeral homes is restricted to only immediate family members. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. I am aware that this will be challenging for Mikey’s pals, but we are only concerned with your well-being. As time goes on, we are going to make it a point to organize a party for as soon as it is secure enough to do so. While everything is going on, Mikey wants all of you to join in the celebration and sing along with him in your bubbles.
The memorial service is scheduled for July 17, 2021.
