Hummelgard, aged 87, a resident of Battle Creek, Iowa, peacefully passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023, while under the care of Willow Dale Wellness Village in Battle Creek, Iowa. A Funeral Service to honor and remember Orville’s life will take place on Friday, August 18, 2023, starting at 10:30 a.m. The service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Battle Creek, Iowa, where Rev. Randy D. Cormeny will lead the service, offering words of comfort and remembrance. Following the service, a Committal Service will be held at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Battle Creek, Iowa. This final resting place will serve as a peaceful setting where Orville’s memory will be treasured.
Friends, family, and community members are invited to pay their respects during the Visitation, scheduled for Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Visitation will also take place at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Battle Creek, Iowa.
