Rhonda Lonardo Death, Obituary – In an unexpected and heartbreaking turn of events, we mourn the passing of Rhonda (Iadevaia) Lonardo, a remarkable woman who left us on August 14th, 2023, with her loyal companion, JoJo the dog, by her side. Born on March 7th, 1950, in Providence, RI, Rhonda’s journey unfolded as the cherished daughter of the late Elena (Tartaglia) Iadaveia and Giovanni (Johnny) Iadevaia, residing at 17 Ledge St Providence, RI.
Rhonda’s life was a tapestry of skills and accomplishments. An accomplished esthetician, cosmetologist, and nail technician, she once owned Fingertips, a salon on Mineral Spring Avenue in North Providence, RI. Later, she established her place in West Palm Beach, FL, where she called Palm Beach Body Co. her pride and joy for over three decades.
Her nurturing spirit extended to her role as a mother to Carlo Merola Lonardo, Cari (Merola Lonardo Card) Esposito, and Ross Lonardo. Rhonda embraced the title of “MeMe” as grandmother to Kayla Card Pagliarini, Lloyd Card, Giovanni Esposito, Benedetto Esposito, Santino Esposito, and Gianna Lonardo Tocci. Her legacy as “MeMe” also graced her great-grandchildren: Desiree Ella-Marie Levasseur, Dante Armani Joseph Pagliarini, Madisyn Ann Card, Milania Sevina Card, and Lloyd Michael Card Jr.
Her life was a testament to the bonds she formed. She was a mother-in-law to Benedetto Esposito and the former mother-in-law to Lloyd Anthony Card Jr. A special chapter in her heart was reserved for her grandchild-in-law, William Rodi Pagliarini. Rhonda was not only a guardian to her pets but also a beacon of friendship to the late Joe Forte and Fran Desimone.
Though her formal proceedings are pending due to family formalities, Rhonda’s essence and wishes remain vivid. Cremated as per her desire, her ashes will find their way to the serene environs of Peanut Island near West Palm Beach and Singer Island, FL.
As we reflect on Rhonda’s life, her journey, and the warmth she brought to countless hearts, let us remember her with fondness and honor her memory. In this moment of shared sorrow, our thoughts and condolences are with her family and friends, and we find solace in knowing that her spirit lives on, forever a cherished part of our lives.
